Tough decisions
A customer included the following in an e-mail:
"You people must think that I am the STUPIDEST PERSON ON EARTH?????"
Is it considered bad taste to reply with "Well, yeah!" ?

It's a well-known fact that the more punctuation is included in an email, the more insane the person writing it. Stupid? Maybe. Insane? Definitely.
My reply to an email like that, if I ever became that bitter worker on his last day, would be something like "Nonsense, we have at least eight customers who are stupider than you. You've got to be in the top 20 among our customers, though. Probably top 100 in the world."
